ID documents (except for concessionary tickets) for exchange for/buying out of an electronic ticket at the railway box office are not necessary.
When boarding a train, it is necessary to present an
original ID document and ticket. Passenger without a document will be refused boarding the train.
It is necessary to have a
child’s birth certificate (passport, child’s travel document) when travelling with children. It is recommended to present originals. The child’s age when boarding the train must comply with the age indicated in the document.
Boarding a train without ID documents is possible when travelling by local trains.
